Seoul Shop
SeoulShop is an Android app project that aims to provide overseas customers with a simple and fast online experience that feels like shopping in authentic boutiques and shops in Korea anytime even when you are sitting on your cozy couch at home.
Project Summary - Seoul Shop
In early 2016, our company started the business to provide cross-border shopping service to Chinese domestic customers. We used a template e-commerce website solution in the beginning but soon found it necessary to build up our own platform because of various limitations of the template. We needed an app that did not only excel in fresh design but also offered fresh content and service compared with other domestic cross-border shopping platforms.
The icon design consists of several core elements and values of our brand. The angular letter “s” which mimics the way of writing Korean letters and the “ㄹ” (also a mirrored “s”) from the Korean alphabet makes the abbreviation of the app identity. In addition, the two tilt letters make up a smiley symbolizing happy customers. And the price tag stands for good bargains. That is to say to satisfy our customers by constantly providing price competitive products is the main pursuit of our app.
